Should be sown in April, May in open ground, 12-15 seeds per 1 m.
Height 1 m, very large pods, 12-15 cm long. Large peas. Technically ready
on 70-80 day after germination.
1,0 g = 3-6 seeds.

* Peas are moisture-loving plants. In case of lack of water, flowers and pods drop off. Therefore, before flowering, water once a week, and during flowering (when the soil must never dry out) – twice a week.
Do not forget to loosen the soil between the rows, especially if, after heavy watering or rain, a crust has formed on the surface.
To obtain a rich harvest, provide peas with a strong support (this is especially important for tall varieties). The most convenient support is a wire mesh fixed to stakes about 2 m high.
Legumes enrich the soil with nitrogen – nodules develop on their roots, where nitrogen-fixing bacteria live. However, nodules form only when the soil is sufficiently warm, so peas may still need a little help...
For this purpose, use a solution of cow manure: 1 kg per 10 l of water with the addition of 1 tablespoon of nitrophoska.
Approximately one month after mass flowering, the harvest can begin.
Peas belong to so-called multi-harvest crops. The fruiting period lasts 35–40 days. Pods are harvested every one or two days. The lower pods ripen first. Under favorable conditions and proper care, up to 4 kg per 1 m² can be harvested per season.
After harvesting, cut the tops and place them in the compost heap, while the roots are plowed in or the remaining green mass is simply chopped and buried in the soil.
Such green manure can replace manure and compost, as it increases soil fertility and improves its structure.
